LA Clippers Star, Matt Barnes and Hip Hop Legend, Snoop Dogg held their 2nd Annual Athletes Vs. Cancer Celebrity Flag Football Game on Sunday, September 7, 2014 at Granada Hills Charter High School. Proceeds from the event benefited the Athletes vs. Cancer organization, The Snoop Youth Football League, and Teen Cancer America. Fans got a chance to see their meet and greet their favorite LA Clippers players. Chris Paul, Blake Griffin, Deandre Jordan, Glen "Big Baby" Davis came out to represent Clipper Nation. Faith Evans graced the stage as she sung the National Anthem. The event even included a Family Fun Zone and catered to all ages.

Matt Barnes of the Los Angeles Clippers, founded Athletes vs. Cancer in memory of his mother, Ann Barnes, who passed away twenty-six days after being diagnosed with four types of cancer in November of 2007. Ann's passing was abrupt and devastating to her family and friends, which led Matt to wanting to prevent others from losing a loved one without the opportunity of having the knowledge and proper resources that can assist in early detection and thorough treatment. In 2008, Matt along with his wife, Gloria and his sister, Danielle, launched Athletes vs. Cancer worldwide, teaming up with athletes and celebrities that shared his goal to educate and bring awareness to communities and motivate people to get regular cancer screenings. Today Athletes vs. Cancer is a non-profit organization that unites athletes, celebrities and the community together in the fight to save lives against cancer.
